2. Scope

This notice covers this website and the contacts that follow from it: enquiries sent through the form, emails, phone calls and bookings, including bookings made through the WuBook booking engine.

3. Data we process

Identity and contact data: first name, last name, email, phone number.

Stay data: dates, number of guests, special requests.

The content of messages sent through the form or by email.

Booking and payment data handled by the WuBook booking engine.

Technical data the site needs in order to work, such as server logs and browser language.

4. Purposes and legal bases

Answering enquiries sent through the form or by email: pre-contractual measures and our legitimate interest in replying.

Managing bookings and stays: performance of the contract and compliance with legal obligations.

Sending promotional messages: only with freely given consent, which you can withdraw.

Meeting tax, administrative and public-security obligations.

Defending the controller’s rights before the courts.

5. Providing your data

Data marked as required is necessary to answer your enquiry or manage your stay: without it we cannot provide the service. Any other data is optional and is marked as such.

6. Recipients

Data may be handled by authorised hotel staff and shared with suppliers acting as processors: hosting and email services, the WuBook booking engine, and tax and legal advisers.

Data is shared with public authorities where the law requires it, for example when reporting guest details.

We do not sell your data, nor share it with third parties for their own commercial purposes.

7. Transfers outside the EU

Where a supplier processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, with any applicable supplementary safeguards.

8. Retention

Enquiries sent through the form: for as long as it takes to handle the request, plus a reasonable period afterwards.

Stay records, invoices and accounting documents: for the periods set by law.

Data processed for marketing: until you withdraw your consent.

9. Your rights

You can exercise the rights set out in articles 15–22 of the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

10. Children

This site is not intended for children under 14 without the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not run marketing aimed at children.

11. Cookies and tracking

This website does not set its own cookies and does not load analytics, advertising or tag-manager scripts. Any WuBook cookies apply only after you open wubook.net, under that provider’s notice.
